At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you gain 5 additional temporary hit points for each slot level above 1st.

使用頻度:★☆☆
前・中衛系のマルチ・クラスで構築しているなら、フォールス・ライフは高レベルスロットで使用するとそこそこ強力です。例えば5Lvスロットを消費すれば最低25点の一時的HPを稼げるので、ファイアー・ボール1発分をほぼキャンセルできるくらいのバッファができます。
とはいえ、5レベルで3レベル1発分と考えると、何とも言えません。スティール・ウィンド・ストライクやシナプティック・スタティック、ウォール・オヴ・フォースを打った方がいいかもしれません。
