君は自分自身――これには君の衣類、鎧、武器、そしてその他の君が身につけているものを含む――が別の外見に見えるようにする。これはこの呪文が終了するか、君がアクションを使用して解除するまで持続する。君は自分の身長を1フィートまで高く、あるいは低く見せることができる。また、痩せているか、太っているか、その中間に見えるようにすることもできる。しかし、肉体の基本的な構成を変えることはできないので、基本的な四肢の付き方は同じものとなるようにしなければならない。このことをのぞけば、この幻術の限界は君次第となる。
この呪文によってもたらされる変化は物理的な検査を欺くことはできない。たとえば、君がこの呪文を使って衣服につば付きの帽子を加えたとしても、物体はその帽子をすり抜けるし、それに触れた者は誰でもそこに何もないことに気付き、君の頭や頭髪の感触を感じるだろう。もしこの呪文を使って君が本来よりも痩せているように見せたなら、誰かが君へと手を伸ばしたとき、その手はまだ空中にあるように 見えるのに君にぶつかることになるだろう。
クリーチャーは君の変装を見破るため、自身のアクションを使って君の外見を調べることができる。それには君の呪文セーヴ難易度に対して、【知力】〈捜査〉判定を成功させなければならない。
You make yourself―including your clothing, armor, weapons, and other belongings on your person― look different until the spell ends or until you use your action to dismiss it. You can seem 1 foot shorter or taller and can appear thin, fat, or in between. You can’t change your body type, so you must adopt a form that has the same basic arrangement of limbs. Otherwise, the extent of the illusion is up to you.
The changes wrought by this spell fail to hold up to physical inspection. For example, if you use this spell to add a hat to your outfit, objects pass through the hat, and anyone who touches it would feel nothing or would feel your head and hair. If you use this spell to appear thinner than you are, the hand of someone who reaches out to touch you would bump into you while it was seemingly still in midair.
To discern that you are disguised, a creature can use its action to inspect your appearance and must succeed on an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
